A festival-winning short film that explores Britain's current social landscape through the eyes of a homeless man on the streets of London.

Written by BAFTA-winning writer Geoff Thompson and directed by Paul Shamassian, An Angel on Oxford Street follows a disillusioned protagonist whose encounter with a homeless man shifts his worldview. Narrated by Christopher Eccleston, the film combines powerful spoken word with unsettling visuals for an immersive, dreamlike experience.

As creative/ art director, I developed hand-drawn visuals and integrated them into a custom AI model, blending traditional artistry with cutting-edge technology to create a distinctive visual style. The film won Best Animated Short at the Edmonton International Film Festival and was officially selected at Cannes Indie Shorts, Raindance, HollyShorts, and the Austin Film Festival.

The film can be watched exclusively on Mubi.
